The photo should not contain parts of the body below the person’s shoulders, or any other objects or persons
The applicant should directly face the camera. The head should not be tilted or angled in any way. The subjects’ head should not face to the either side or positioned up, down. The part from top of the head, including the hair, to the chin should cover 50% to 68% of the whole image. Height from the eye level to the bottom of the photo should not be less than 56% or exceed 69% of the image.
The background should be light-coloured and completely plain. There should be no shadows, pixels or dots visible in the image.
Sunglasses or other extras are not allowed. Spectacles are permitted, as long as they are not tinted or with a reflecting surface that may hide the subjects’ eyes. Glare can be avoided by slightly angling the head to the side, but not so as to affect the appearance of the subject. Hats are permitted but only if they are for religious reasons. Any other exceptions, including tribal or military affiliations, won’t be accepted.
The original skin-tone of the subject must be maintained. Photo contrast and brightness should be used only to represent the subjects’ features accurately. Any lighting should not over expose or under expose the photo.
